Griffith Observatory on Mount Hollywood

by Tomi Nihtila

Shot with E-M5II + 12-100 using tripod on concrete wall to achieve 6s exposure time (the first two photos).

It was Saturday night when we got to Griffith park so the place was packed with tourists and stargazers. Observatory parking lot was already full so we needed to leave car quite far down and walk uphill for 20+ minutes. Sun was already below the horizon when we got up there. Views were not the best as it was very misty air; however, I was able to capture few keepers with slightly different atmosphere.

The Hollywood sign on the other side was barely visible behind the mist – I will show that in the next post.
